Four Ways to Shop Korea with liblingz (and How to Choose)
Korean stores are wonderful, but many are built for Korean phone numbers, Korean cards and Korean addresses. liblingz gives you four ways around that. They differ in two things only: who buys the item and where your order ends up.
We Buy: you send the link, we buy it
Paste a product link, choose the option and quantity, and pay us. We buy the item from the Korean store, receive it, check it over and ship it to your address. Best for stores that will not accept your card or address, or when you would rather not deal with Korean sellers.
You Buy: you order, we ship
Create an account and you get your own Korean address. Order from any store that delivers inside Korea and use that address. We tell you when each package arrives, keep it safe, and combine your packages into one box when you are ready.
Pickup: collect it in Korea, carry it home
Visiting Korea? Order before your trip with We Buy or You Buy, then pick everything up at a pickup point in Seoul, Ulsan, Busan or Jeju. Nothing is shipped abroad, so there is no international shipping fee. You carry your purchases home yourself.
Pickup + Stay: your order waits where you sleep
The same as Pickup, with a place to stay. Rates depend on the season and where you stay, so we quote after you tell us your dates and city.
The four at a glance
| Service | Who buys | Where it ends up | International shipping | Korean delivery fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| We Buy | We do | Shipped to your address | Yes, paid after packing | $4 per item |
| You Buy | You do | Shipped to your address | Yes, paid after packing | None from us (you pay the store) |
| Pickup | Either way | You collect it in Korea | None | $4 per item if we buy it |
| Pickup + Stay | Either way | Waiting where you stay | None | $4 per item if we buy it |
Which one should I choose?
- The store will not take my card or address: We Buy.
- The store delivers inside Korea and I want to keep control: You Buy.
- I am travelling soon and have luggage space: Pickup.
- I also need somewhere to stay: Pickup + Stay (ask us for a quote).
Send us a link and we buy it for you.
